This include managing some existing customers as well as key focus on new customer acquisition. The RSS will formulate and implement account strategies to maximize sales results in the territory working directly with customers and partners across the region. The Regional Sales Specialist will be responsible for direct sales of Telit’s portfolio of IoT connectivity, cloud offering and hardware in the assigned DACH territory. Preferable working with services such as connectivity, network management and cloud services targeting customers within the territory. In order to be successful in this role we believe you have at least 5 years’ experience within the IoT industry. Other duties or tasks may be assigned on an as needed to meet the overall objectives of the company.
Leverage CRM system to manage all customer contacts track and manage a qualified pipeline of leads, opportunities, using company tools.Provide regular reports in a timely manner, including weekly activity report, monthly sales forecast, visit reports, market maps and other reports as required.Participate in events and industry engagement to position Telit as a thought IoT leader.Responsible for forecast and financial planning.Meet and exceed sales targets achieve maximum sales by developing strong and meaningful customer relationships within senior executive team at targeted accounts.Handle negotiations in later stage sales efforts through targeted customer visits to key decision makers, RFP response development, and the coordination of third-party solution providers.Effectively communicate and present to multiple levels and functions within an organization to demonstrate Telit’s unique value proposition.Present Telit’s services offering, including demonstrating deep familiarity with company's infrastructure, security, and integration capabilities.Provide subject matter expert support as a sales overlay assisting direct or indirect sales teams in the entire sales process.Build relationships within targeted accounts at all levels in order to understand customer requirements and build a compelling value proposition based on Telit’s IoT offerings.The RSS will be responsible for new sales in Region for the assigned territory. The specific responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to: New Sales Development & Account Management: General responsibilities include but not limited to leading our sales efforts in direct accounts, prospecting strategic accounts, implementing specific account strategies and closing opportunities.
